Don’t you sometimes wish you could press the pause button in the movie of your life and take a break? Maybe you go get some icecream. Take a bathroom break, or just take a long stretch. If it’s an Indian movie then there is a mandatory stretch called intermission. I am not kidding!
It is our responsibility to take care of ourselve. Take this time out for YOU and allow me to lead you to your own center where you can choose to pause. Due to a few requests I will lead two sessions. You are welcome to either one or both! Turmeric Elixir5/1/2018 As children, growing up in India and the Middle East, our mother would feed us this warm magical drink when any one of us had a cold, sore throat, cough, or when we craved it. The drink is warm, yellow, sweet, creamy, with a tinge of black pepper and ginger enough to create flames at the back of the throat. We would have that right before bed and like magic we would wake up feeling better the next morning. The drink has a heavy dose of turmeric, a natural antiseptic and anti inflammatory, and anti cancer causing natural root. It’s called Golden Turmeric Elixir. Scientists have shown that the curcumin in turmeric has strong anti inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It is of great benefit to people who suffer from allergies, asthma, bronchitis and to reduce any inflammation in the sinuses and respiratory tracts. The closest I have come to taste and effects to this concoction is this product! Golden Turmeric Elixir. Now that I don’t consume Cow’s milk I take straight shots of it and feed it to my children as well. We enjoy the unique taste of turmeric and the intensity of the black pepper in the throat so much that most times we don’t dilute it. Mixing it with Cow’s milk or almond or coconut milk or something alike makes it into a very soothing drink. It tastes great both cold or warm, and heavenly with a few drops of local honey. I am excited to share that I carry this healing and delicious product in my studio. They are going very fast and sell for $25. And this one has a bit of vanilla and cinnamon in the mix and tastes delicious!
