I am a third generation Henna Artist residing in Houston, TX but have had the opportunity to travel all over the US and internationally to provide my services to clients. I have practiced Henna for over 25 years in India, the Middle East and the US. It all began with my grandmother who started applying henna as a hobby. In those days very primitive methods of application were utilized such as applying with matchsticks and toothpicks. But as the quality of the henna improved, application techniques also evolved including the use of carrot bags which resulted in a very fine tip for henna application and improvements in henna recipes for deeper and richer quality stains. This art that has been taught to me and passed from generation to generation and has evolved into something that not only amazes people but has the amazing ability to touch them in a "spiritual" way. So please do explore this amazing art form we call Mehndi and be prepared to be awed and mesmerized!
I do henna for all kinds of events for adults and children including as well as individual appointments at the Studio.
